Finestrat & Sierra Cortina:

Perched on the hillside 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) above Benidorm is the picturesque Spanish village of Finestrat. It is neatly nestled into the coastal side of the mountain range of The Sierra Cortina with its highest peak Puig Campana reaching an impressive 1410 metres (4630 ft). The village is easily accessed by road and is just a short 5 minute drive from the main AP-7 motorway or the main coastal road, the N-332. It is also just 55km from Alicante Airport. Whilst the old town is located slightly inland, the nearest golden sandy beach at Cala de Finestrat is only a 10 minute drive away. The beach area of Cala de Finestrat is bordered to the south by the peaceful and picturesque beach resort of Villajoyosa with it's multicoloured tuscan style beachfront houses and to the north by the vibrant city of Benidorm.

Just a few kilometres below the old town is the Sierra Cortina Golf & Country Club where you will find a large number of stylish new developments.
