Much like Mar De Cristal, Playa Honda is a small, unspoilt, peaceful beach resort located on the interior shoreline of the Mar Menor. Like i'ts neighbour, you will find a golden, sandy beach and can enjoy the calm, warm, shallow waters of the Mar Menor Sea. This safe family resort is never too busy, even in the height of Summer and has open green spaces and play parks ideal for younger children.  The town also benefits from having a small number of local shops, a pharmacy, a small supermarket and a handful of good bars and restaurants. The beach also offers fabulous views across to La Manga Strip. 

Playa Honda is just a 5 minute drive or taxi ride away from the beautiful harbour town of Cabo De Palos with its seafront bars, restaurants, shops and lively Summer nightlife. The world famous La Manga Club with its 3 championship golf courses, superb sports facilities and its great choice of bars and restaurants is also just a 5 minute drive away.
